What is Problem Management Plus (PM+)?

This proven, scalable, and cost-effective low-intensity mental health intervention was developed by the World Health Organization. It is delivered by trained non-clinical workers and is for people who are experiencing common mental health conditions, such as anxiety or depression, or stressful life problems. PM+ fills a gap in the behavioral health services system by providing early intervention and potential prevention of more acute behavioral health service needs. The curriculum is adapted to fit the cultural context of the participants, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.

Participants gain skills for handling both practical and emotional challenges
